I am so excited!!! This is the best birthday coming up...my 21st, on the 21st!! I have waited so long for this day...never had a fake ID...but there have been groups I've wanted to go and hear sing in places (like the House of Blues)...and there was always a 21 and up limit!! And tonight, at midnight...I am legal...hooray!!!

College starts this Monday, and I am so looking forward to my classes (jeez...this was so not me in high school...haha!) and seeing my friends!! I am an art and business double major, and I really have some challenging courses to push me out of my comfort zone, and learn new techniques!!!

My new apartment is cute and wonderful...it is close to the boat harbor, and looks at a wonderful garden and the sailboats anchored fifty feet away. A yellow cat has adopted me, and visits every morning and afternoon on my patio!! She's so sweet!! A very close friend helped me move every load in this past month, carrying things so heavy, without any help...so amazing...and sweet!! I love the visits!! My apartment is all chocolate brown and acid green and neon pink and some turquoise for contrast...sorta retro hippie, Indian and gauzy...next come all my photographs mounted on black to be put up...should be cool!!!

This is something I found in a journal...and it really struck close to home with what has been happening in my life the past months...I love to read things that really make you think....

He wrote...
Not many girls appreciate nice guys anymore. And because of this, there are not many left out there. He said, "I guarantee 90% of the men on your page will not repost this because they care more about their image." It doesn't really matter if you do post this or not...I just like the things listed...and I do see nice guys doing many of these things everyday...very cool...
